I apologise for forgetting your birthday yesterday — it's these Cape Town fleeting young moments that made me forget.

I am truly, madly, deeply sorry.

This also serves as a marker for your birthday — now, even Mme Nkoane knows and she will remind me.

As a matter of fact, I miss Johannesburg, I miss my people, I miss everybody that side I haven't spent time with, especially, Tebogo.

When I return, we will revisit those old dreams we had — and paint this country Orange (with a hint of Coffee).
